| My Ship is still at sea and it have been almost two months so far. We already pass Hawaii,Guam and some other South East Asian countries. We stopped by Singapore for seven days and it was great. Even thought that place was really costly but we had our fun. It is not a place I will live in but its a great place for wealthy bussiness and casino freaks. I met a oil bussiness man and I ask for a job hook up. Me and my friends will look more to it. We helped the people in Bangladash with supplies and water. They were hit by a Typoon and this was the second time that our ship supported their need, since 1991. Their acting president came by to thank us for support and their chief of staff was here also. It was cool to have one of the other country's highest official coming by here to our ship. We will be receiving a ribbon for it. I also voluteer to clean up the beach in Singapore and this will be a considered as a community service type thing. Well I am doing by part helping this world out abit. If you guys did not know our ship supposed to made a international crisis by having one of our sailor deck the cab driver in Singapore. The Captain told that we sort of ruined our great reputation of Tarawa by having alot of incidents in Singapore. This incident was in CNN and few other countries such as England, Germany, China and Singapore. It was front over on the Singapore newspaper. Also alot our shipmates made a alot of scene. I was part of few of group incidents which almost put myself in NJP. Well they drop my case since my was not so harsh compared to others. Well hopefully other port will be more smooth. I learned from my mistake and I will not mess this up.Yeah I going find out how everything goes. dfkasjkdfja blah..1.>. I hopefully you guys will write to me. Well I am still looking for to see other countries out there. It is so crowed in here, 1000 sailors-2000 marines; it is so hectic. I wondered how everyone is doing right now. MAIL ME!! or email. | T.J Mexico, probably more sinful than our Sin City in the states. So sinful that our Vegas is will appear to be a church choir. A lot of military personnel were screwed over by the cops there in T.J. I mean if one of the cops came over and ask for money so you don't go to jail, you got no choice. Jail in Mexico is much worse than ours. A lot of the marines trying to be all "badass" getting themselves raped.Sometimes a hooker might appear female, but once that bed door close and you allow "her" to tied you up thinking you are getting some fun. Beware there are transvestite barging in and having fun with you. Well it is all good. I get discount from few bars, since I been cool with people. Even thought I did heard horror stories from the navy about T.J, but hearing from a locals made me chill to the bones. People waking up with no kidney and internal organ is a popular one. How messed up is that! I felt like a fresh meat walking down the street of Anita, where all the hookers grab my ass and hollaring at me. Girls tried to drag you to them and such. Another length chill down by spine. I heard screams in one of the police Custody and it sounds pretty awful. Mexico is that bad compared to Southeast Asia from the stories I hear. This is so sick.....I kind of feel angry and also to the people visit there. Europeans guys going to Thailand for 13 years old girls. Sex slaves trade in all of asia and Unusual activties in East Europe. What kind of world do we live in? I am pretty sure my friends tried to go over there and thinking it will be fun. But if you think losing your virginity to a whore and trying to sleep with a 14 years old chick is you idea of pleasure, you are a loser. Pathetic.... | | |
| 07Sept07: We just set off to underway again for 15 days with thousand of marines on board. The mess lines are horrible all the time because of the mass of people. You see four different lines with each having ridiculous of amount of people. There are a blue line and green line for each branch. Plus, there are also a watch line, a fast line and some other stupid lines. I have to admit that marines’ chicks are more gorgeous than the navy females onboard. Maybe I believe it is the marine chicks keep in shape most of the time. I thought the navy was the smarter and the good looking one; so not true. They are more structured and organized than us, I am not sure if they are individual have higher I.Q like the poll says. Well everything is stupid anyway. Waking 0300 everyday gets old. Finally I got a job promotion each allows me to work as an office yeoman. Ahem “*cough* “office bitch”. Anyway I have it good, which allows me to clean and office and paper work; while other deck seaman and boatswain mate do dirty shitty jobs. I really trying get to the officer programs; I am not really sure if I am going to stay as in navy officer. Most likely I am head toward air force or army right now. It is not really easy because the fact that I have to go underway so much, and there is no time for study at all. One of my friend on the boat is now discharged and in jail in San Diego. After pulling the suicide attempt by hanging from the lifeline, people grabbed him down. The thing was that he gave them enough time to put him down to the ground. Man, he pulled this bs before and we all know in Deck department that it was full of crap. Nobody likes this ship, we all want to get out of the boat, but we have to deal with it. This ship is actually haunting; many of friends seen ghost and unusual moment. You many laugh but, when you onboard Tarawa and night of underway, its prime night. Spirits of the previous sailors are onboard with you. One more thing~ Marine girls are soooo strong. 30 pull ups!!!!! GET OUT OF HERE….I only can do like 10 or 12. The girls are stronger than half the people on the ship. But, I am pretty sure they cannot take us down in a fight. = ) | | |
| San diego is boring without a car and if you are under 21 of age. Geez...I guess I am going back to barracks. | | |
| Everyone in my division wants to become a boatsmate, but is it really worth it. Me and ten other guys almost went overboard during the last underway and do they really expect me to be a boats? They are remaking the Naval Infantry and I was wondering isn't the marines the navy infantry? I guess army is having trouble overseas. Argh, hoping until November I will be prepare to take the air force rotc exam, so I hope I am in your prayers. I was supposed to go home for two weeks but surprises kept coming up and I had to postponed it many times. So my best bet is on christmas holidays. Hope to see many of you soon. Many of my buddies were discharged from the navy and I blame the navy for this. Most of them, it was not their fault but craps happens. I been in the navy for a year and a month now. Aug 2 was my year mark. I kind of miss bootcamp's atmosphere and my buddies. Well, my class is going to start soon and I hope their no obstacles on the way preventing me to attend the class. I hate being busy all the time. Nov 1-3, 2006- Well I found away for NROTC but I am still hoping I can first apply first AFROTC. The Halloween costoum Party was fine on the Ship. I am still at sea and it have been 4 weeks in row except the weekends. Alot of the morales of the crew are dropping. Our new Capt is too gunho; we need our old OLD man back. My cranking time is almost over. The battle between the Deck and FSA begins. Finally I am in port. | | |
